As a pioneer in Municipal Solid Waste (MSW) Management, Mr.Senthil has implemented 6 Municipal Solid waste management plants in Tamil Nadu (Coonoor, Mettupalayam, Erode, Udumelpet, Pollachi and Trichy) successfully. He has also successfully acquired carbon credits from UNFCCC (United Nation Frame work Convention on Climate Change) for his projects. The project were not only the first to be rated as the best plants in India but also the first to receive carbon credits for MSW projects in South Asia
Passionate about organic foods and believe in it as a way of life, Mrs. Sumathi Senthil was running an organic store for the past ten year.
Earlier, she also headed the genetics department at Kovai Medical Center and Hospital, Coimbatore, after which started her own genetics lab at Nandanam, Chennai in 1995.
As she defends strongly, health as a human right she worked towards her passion and her husband’s dream to revise the role of organic fertilizer on agricultural products , to increase productivity, to focus on environmental protection and the potential health benefits they offer.
